Our First Community Flu Clinic Of The Season Was A Success!
Mary Meagher, RN, immunized over 50 community members yesterday at Pittsford Fire Hall #1. She helped kick off Flu Prevention Partner's annual community flu clinic season with enthusiasm and a passion for keeping members of her community healthy. "I just love what I do. I feel so fortunate to be able to help people in this way," Mary said. Mary's looking forward to working at several more clinics in the coming weeks. "I enjoy meeting new people and interacting with everyone--old and young alike," Meagher said.
Barbara Fischer of Irondequoit attended the clinic and confessed that she hadn't gotten a flu shot in years. "I have just been reading so many stories in the news lately about the dangers of the flu. I decided to commit to getting one this year." Fischer said the ease of getting to the clinic and the importance of supporting a local business were some of the factors in deciding to choose Flu Prevention Partner's clinic.
Over 70 more clinics are scheduled across the region through December. Check out the complete 2017 clinic list at www.wpvinc.com
